East Side Story: Pop-Ups and Parties!
It's August in New York, which means that everyone, including us, is outside trying to savor this last month of summer before it all too quickly slips away. It is during this time especially that the Lower East Side is on fire with youthful energy!
On Tuesday, we stopped by Chinatown Soup's "Pin and Patch" Party at 16 Orchard Street. It featured a variety of cool designs from the likes of Cat Coven and Strike Gently Co, among others!
For those unfamiliar, Chinatown Soup is a not-for-profit creative community which helps promote art, justice, and respect for the city's history. Needless to say, we're fans!
In other Orchard Street news, Fruition Clothing has a pop up going on at the corner of Orchard and Hester Streets...
Finally, nothing beats the humpday slump like a dance party...which is why last night we headed to the Prince dance party by Uptown Bounce at the Museum of the City of New York!
There are no summer nights like those on NYC's East Side. We wouldn't trade them for the world!
